Community Rules
Status: Version 1
Version: V1 — initial operation in Brazil
Language: Official English version — the Portuguese original prevails
Last updated: 2026-09-29
Publication date: 2026-09-30
This document explains, in plain language, what we expect from everyone who uses Triboo. It exists to be read, not decoded.
The contractual obligations remain in the Terms of Use and, for anyone who creates communities, in the Creator Terms. In case of divergence, those documents prevail. This text neither creates nor reduces rights: it describes the same limits in a different way.
What Triboo is
A place for people to build communities around what they know, what they do or what they have in common. Communities work when people feel safe taking part. These rules exist for that, not for bureaucracy.
What we expect from everyone
Treat people the way you would want to be treated. Disagreeing is part of it. Attacking, humiliating, stalking or threatening is not.
Do not post what isn't yours. Text, image, video, audio, lessons, course material: if you did not create it and you do not have permission, do not post it.
Respect other people's privacy. Do not expose personal data, private conversations, confidential documents or third-party information without authorisation. This applies especially to sensitive data and material from court proceedings.
Be honest about what you offer. No promises you cannot keep, no guarantees of results without basis, and no offers that hide important information.
Use your own account. Do not sell, lend or share access.
What is not allowed
- Illegal, discriminatory, abusive, threatening content, or content that promotes harassment
- Any content involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of children or teenagers
- Sharing intimate photos, videos or other material of someone without their consent
- Sexually explicit content or pornography
- Supporting or encouraging violence, terrorism, attacks on democracy, suicide or self-harm
- Offering weapons, drugs or other illegal products and services
- Exposing personal data, sensitive data, confidential information or material under legal seal
- Infringing copyright, trademarks, likeness or privacy
- Spam, fraud, scams, pyramid schemes, abusive lead capture or misleading promises
- Selling investment recommendations, betting or health products without the required authorisation
- Running draws, raffles or prizes in cash or goods without the required authorisation
- Paid or irregular electoral advertising, and false or manipulated content meant to deceive about people or elections
- Malware, viruses, phishing or attempted unauthorised access
- Scraping, bots, abusive automation or unauthorised data export
- Manipulating points, levels, rankings, ratings or metrics
- Selling, transferring or sharing an account
- Anything that harms the security, stability or experience of people using the platform
If you create or administer a community
You set the internal rules of your community and you may be stricter than this document. What you cannot be is more lenient: no internal rule may contradict the law, the Terms of Use, or reduce consumer rights.
You are also answerable for the people you appoint as administrators or moderators, and for how you use your members' data. The details are in the Creator Terms.
Only use members' posts, testimonials or screenshots to promote your community with their permission or without identifying them. In V1, communities where simply taking part reveals something sensitive about members — such as a health condition, religion, sexual orientation or membership of a political party — are not allowed. Educational content on those subjects is still fine.
If you are a member of a community
Respect each community's rules and the legitimate instructions of whoever administers it. Every community has its own purpose, tone and limits, and joining one means accepting how it works.
Before paying for a community, check the offer: what is included, the price, how often you are charged and how to cancel. The person answerable for that delivery is the community's creator. On any purchase, you can withdraw within 7 days and get your money back. If the creator offers a longer refund period, it applies as stated in the offer.
Minimum age
Triboo is for people aged 18 and over. Communities may not be directed at children or teenagers.
What happens when someone breaks the rules
Depending on the case, content may be removed, access may be restricted, and the account may be suspended or closed. Whenever it is possible and safe to do so, we give notice first and room to explain.
You are told the reason for the decision and can challenge it within 30 days through the e-mail address info@triboo.net.br. A person reviews the challenge. If you reported something and we decide to keep it up, we also explain why, and you can challenge that too.
Repeated violations lead to firmer measures.
How to report something
If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us through the e-mail address info@triboo.net.br. You do not need an account to report. Intimate photos or videos shared without consent are handled as a priority.
If you are a woman facing violence, you can also get help from the Central de Atendimento à Mulher – Ligue 180, free, confidential and available 24 hours a day: phone 180, WhatsApp (61) 9610-0180 or e-mail central180@mulheres.gov.br.
For a complaint about copyright, trademarks or use of likeness, the procedure is in section 10.1 of the Terms of Use.
